Every product is handmade.
Artisan Avenue began with one simple question.
“Why is it becoming so difficult for talented artisans and small businesses to survive?”
Across Canada, independent artisans and makers face challenges that grow bigger every year. They compete with mass-produced goods, rising operating costs, and online marketplaces that often prioritize profits over the people doing the creating.
We’ve experienced those challenges ourselves. We understood the frustration of pouring your heart into your craft while struggling to reach the customers who truly value handmade work. Instead of accepting that reality, we decided to help change it.
In 2023, we opened our first storefront in Vancouver with a clear purpose: to create a place where local artisans could grow together instead of competing alone.
What started as a small retail space quickly became something much greater. It became a community.
Today, Artisan Avenue proudly represents talented artisans, makers, artists, and small businesses who support one another, celebrate one another’s successes, and prove every day that collaboration is stronger than competition.
Our vendors aren’t simply part of our business — they’re part of our family. Their success is our success. Every milestone they achieve reminds us why Artisan Avenue exists.
